The Little Mushroom Shelves Everyone Asks About

Walk past a fallen log after a wet week in the woods and you might see them: creamy, fan-shaped mushrooms stacked one above another up the bark. They're oyster mushrooms, named for caps that look just like oyster shells. They grow in tiers on dead hardwood like a set of tiny natural shelves. We looked at that and thought: what if they actually were shelves?

Each set comes with three oyster mushroom shelves at varying heights, so they look natural when you hang them in a little cluster, just like the real thing on a tree. Every ledge is 3.75 inches across and about 1.5 inches deep, which is small enough to stay delicate and big enough to hold something you love:

Hanging them

Customers have gotten creative. One reviewer was happy to find sticky tabs in their order, which help when you can't drill into the wall, so these work well for dorms and rentals. Another customer planned to mount theirs in a bearded dragon's enclosure with magnets. Pick whatever works for your wall.
