Shop guide

Buy what you can dream: custom signs, painted pieces and figurines

The words, colors and little details are yours. Our Creation Studio is the place to start turning them into a piece made for you.

Sometimes the right gift is almost in the shop window. The shape is close, but the name is wrong. The colors work, but the character needs a different expression. Or you can picture exactly what belongs on your wall and have never found it for sale.

Buy what you can dream is the invitation behind the Crafty Cady Chicks Creation Studio. Our Michigan family workshop now accepts quote requests for spray-painted signs, other painted items, custom figurines and 3D-printed designs. Bring the idea; we will review the materials, size, finish and work involved before agreeing on a project.

A sign with your words on it

A family name, a workshop nickname, a short message for a craft booth: a sign becomes personal when the words and colors belong to you. Choose spray-painted sign to tell us the exact lettering, approximate width and height, preferred surface and color scheme.

You can ask about a simple single-color finish, stencil-style lettering or a more detailed painted design. Describe the effect you want instead of feeling that you need to know the right paint or manufacturing terms. We will discuss what is workable during the quote review.

If it is meant for a porch, a garden or a frequently handled display, say so. Outdoor exposure and surface condition affect how a project should be planned; an outdoor finish is something to confirm with us, not something to assume from a color choice.

Painted décor with a personal touch

The painted-item option is for ideas such as a decorative display base, a small ornament or another paintable piece. Include the item’s material, current condition and the look you want. If you own the item already, describe it before sending anything. Acceptance, preparation and shipping arrangements need to be agreed first.

A useful description might explain that you want a muted green background, cream lettering and a matte appearance. That tells us more than “make it pretty,” while still leaving room for recommendations. These are starting ideas for quotes, not a catalog of finished products or fixed-price packages.

A figurine from your imagination

For an original character, a shelf companion or a little keepsake, select custom figurine. Tell us the pose, expression, overall height, base shape and small features that matter most. You can request an unpainted piece, a single-color finish or painted details for review.

Custom figurines use the studio’s 3D-print size guidance: A1 mini up to 180 × 180 × 180 mm, or a Prusa MK3/MK4 build volume of 250 × 210 × 220 mm. Larger bounding boxes are marked for multipiece review. A size match is a starting check; the design still needs review for supports, strength, orientation and assembly.

Useful creations belong here, too

The studio still welcomes organizers, holders, craft tools, templates, household replacement parts and prototypes. Describe the problem you want to solve, the space the piece must fit and any holes or attachment points. The quote preparation guide walks through the measurements and details that help us understand a request.

Questions before you begin

Do I need a finished design file?

No. Start with a detailed written description and an optional reference link. Tell us which details are essential and where you would like help. We will ask questions before confirming feasibility and pricing.

Do painted signs have to fit a 3D printer?

No. Signs and other painted items receive a manual size, surface and finish review. Width and height are required; depth or thickness may be left blank if you do not know it.

How much does a custom creation cost?

Pricing depends on design work, size, materials, painting, quantity and other project details. Submitting the form does not take a payment or place an approved order. We discuss the quote and timing before work starts.

Who can request a quote?

The form is for U.S. residents and requires a name, email, phone number and U.S. address. Gun parts and firearm components are not accepted.
