Handmade Beaded Jewelry: Bracelets, Necklaces and Sets With a Story

People have worn beads for an astonishingly long time. Shell beads found in caves in North Africa and the Middle East are roughly 100,000 years old, older than farming, writing or the wheel. Beads have been money, status, prayer and love tokens. And in 2023, when concertgoers traded friendship bracelets by the thousands, they proved beads are still one of the most human ways to say I see you.

That's the spirit of our jewelry. Our beaded pieces are designed and made by hand by Catherine, our family's jewelry designer.

Bracelets

Bracelets are the heart of the collection, and there's one for nearly every personality:

Bridal and gift sets

For the bride-to-be, our gold set has thirteen pieces: nine beaded bracelets, two pairs of earrings, a cross necklace and a cocktail ring. Our pearl set has twelve, with a silver cross necklace, earrings and eight bracelets. Both are made to carry her through the engagement party, the shower and the bachelorette. We also carry a small selection of sterling silver (.925) gemstone rings.

How to care for beaded jewelry

• Roll stretch bracelets on and off instead of pulling them over your hand. That's the number-one way to make them last.
• Take jewelry off to swim, shower and sleep, and keep lotions and perfumes off the beads.
• Store pieces separately so charms don't tangle and metal doesn't scratch.
